Computer games can be very addicting. People spend hours doing activities on their computers, building up scores, and trying to beat their high scores. Some of these games can even teach you valuable life lessons without you realizing it. One of these lessons is the value of a budget. Many people tend to see the games they play as a form of escapism, a way to do something without caring about the consequences.

In computer games, most individuals utilize their keyboard or controllers to directly control what’s going on a computer screen, including a TV screens and video ones as well. In card games, players utilize playing cards like in a casino. There are even games which utilize your body, like the Kinect. However, most games require more expensive equipment, not to mention an ongoing monthly subscription fee to play games. The gaming industry, however, is starting to provide affordable options for people of all income levels.

Chris Crawford, founder and CEO of Playics, believes that games have become a part of our culture. “I remember when I was growing up, and my dad would take us every so often to the local video arcade. It wasn’t until I was in college that I actually got into a car accident with one of the crew members.” Today, gamers not only can visit a car showroom to test out new cars or even get custom paint jobs, they can also test out their skills online. “We want to give players a chance to experience what it’s like to become involved in online multiplayer games,” says Crawford. “We also want them to have a chance to connect with their friends and family.”
